Nonprofits are in a league of their own when it comes to company management. Their day-to-day functions can resemble for-profits in many ways, but their ultimate financial goals and the stakeholders they serve are fundamentally different. 

Despite that, many directors in for-profits make the move to non-profits and vice versa, and they need adequate knowledge to make that leap.

About our guest

Muddy Ramrakha is a recent graduate of CGI’s diploma in corporate governance and has an executive career in corporate leadership. Highlights include his role as vice president and executive director at JP Morgan, as well as membership of the Green Angel Syndicate – an investment syndicate specialising in the fight against climate change. 

Muddy has worked within or with organisations in Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, and has spoken publicly on topics like ESG, and economic/environmental impact investment.
