Why boardroom communication is crucial: A Corporate Governance Podcast
Why boardroom communication is crucial: The latest corporate governance podcast episode explores the main problems of boardroom communication and how to solve them.
Why boardroom communication is crucial
It doesn’t matter how experienced directors are, or how much they have achieved throughout their careers – if they can’t communicate, it can be a colossal boardroom liability.
Good boardroom communication has its own set of challenges nowadays. The business landscape is chaotic, short-term priorities dominate, and directors are expected to consume huge volumes of information as part of their normal boardroom routine. If you’ve ever been faced with reading a huge board pack in a short space of time, you’ll know how challenging it can be.
To help with that, we’re talking with Davina Stanley, communication strategist, senior leadership consultant and author of Elevate and Engage, two books dedicated to helping leaders and teams communicate better with less rework.
Davina has many years of experience in governance communications, and one of her main goals is to enable corporate leaders to use their skills in this area to maximise their positive influence on their businesses.
