The Corporate Governance Institute and Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance announce a strategic partnership to further the drive for best-in-class governance standards

London, United Kingdom and Dublin, Ireland – 25th November 2025

The Corporate Governance Institute (TCGI) and the Hellenic Observatory of Corporate Governance (HOCG) have announced a strategic partnership to enhance the availability of top-class governance education.

The unique collaboration will open new avenues for the HOCG network, enabling all clients to remain educated on the core knowledge essential to directors and aspiring directors as the main challenges of company leadership continue to evolve at a rapid pace.

It will also further HOCG’s mission to examine and monitor the practices of corporate governance, achieved through the observation and research of directors, investors, and senior executives.

This aligns well with TCGI’s purpose and mission to ensure aspiring and existing directors possess world-class governance skills.

“We are delighted to celebrate this new partnership between the Corporate Governance Institute and HOCG, a collaboration that brings together shared values, complementary expertise, and a common commitment to elevating global governance standards,” said Professor Dimitrios N. Koufopoulos, Founder of HOCG

“We look forward with great excitement to the meaningful impact and innovative opportunities this alliance will create.”

Ciarán Bollard, Chief Executive of The Corporate Governance Institute, said the partnership was a “unique and valuable opportunity to bring together quality education with a strong and varied network of professionals.”

“Since TCGI’s founding, the one constant is that governance requirements are always getting harder, producing new challenges and ensuring good directors need top-quality education. We’re excited to see our new partnership with HOCG bring new opportunities to its network in the name of strong worldwide corporate governance.

In the wake of COP30 and the renewed focus on strong corporate leadership and ESG principles, The TCGI Diploma in Corporate Governance and the Certified ESG Professional Programme are available now to the HOCG network.
