The Corporate Governance Institute (TCGI) and Scribe Services Registrars Limited have announced a strategic partnership, allowing governance professionals in East Africa to access top-quality, globally recognised corporate governance qualifications.
The partnership opens crucial opportunities for professionals in the region to access the university-credit-rated diploma from TCGI locally.
Clients will gain advanced governance training, board-readiness credentials and network with peers internationally. For TCGI, the collaboration expands its reach into the East African market through a trusted local partner, enabling increased enrolment and regional cohorts.
“We are delighted to partner with TCGI to bring globally-recognised board-level governance education into the Kenyan and East African market,” said Scribe’s Managing Director Bernard Kiragu Kamau.
“This partnership will empower executives, aspiring directors and governance professionals with best-in-class frameworks, tools and credibility to step into and excel in governance roles.”
Ciarán Bollard, Chief Executive of the Corporate Governance Institute, said, “The partnership will provide a benchmark educational standard for those entrusted with high-level corporate decision-making.”
“Nowadays, the boardroom is an extremely high-stakes environment. Directors must play an active role in leadership, and to do that, they need first-rate, dedicated training which sets them up for success from day one. We’re excited to welcome the first delegates to our courses through this new partnership and develop our network further in the East African Region.”
Under the partnership, Scribe Services Registrars Limited will act as the official regional partner and reseller for The Corporate Governance Institute (TCGI), promoting and facilitating enrolment for its internationally accredited programmes within Kenya and the East African region.
