Corporate Governance Institute secures €3m funding round led by BVP

The Corporate Governance Institute, the global standard in online governance education and certification, has completed a €3 million funding round led by venture capital firm BVP. The investment will support the company’s continued growth as it strengthens its position as the leading provider of boardroom education in Europe and beyond.

Offering a portfolio of Diplomas, Certificates, and short-form courses, delivered through a practitioner-led approach and supported by university accreditation. The Institute’s mission is to democratise access to director-level training and empower a new generation of leaders to unlock strategic, long-term competitive advantage.

In recent years, the organisation has expanded its offerings to include high-demand topics such as ESG, artificial intelligence, and digital governance. Today, it hosts the world’s largest curated library of governance-related education. The new funding will enable further development of its course portfolio and continued expansion into international markets.

The investment round was led by BVP Ireland, a multi-asset investment platform, providing a range of capital solutions to companies at various stages of the business life cycle. Additional investors include Enterprise Ireland and private investors.
